Healing School 2019 – Part 1
God is Ready to Heal!
Healing is more than something God does; it is a part of Who He is.
Exodus 15:26 NKJV
(26) and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
Jehovah – The eternal, self-existent One.
This verse correctly translated says, “For I am Jehovah Rapha.” (The Lord your Healer) Again, not what He does, but Who He is.
There are seven redemptive compound names of God:
- Jehovah-Shammah – The Lord is present.
- Jehovah-Shalom – The Lord is our Peace. He does not just give peace; He is peace.
- Jehovah-Raah – The Lord our Shepherd.
- Jehovah-Jireh – The Lord our Provider.
- Jehovah-Tsidkenu – The Lord our Righteousness.
- Jehovah-Nissi – The Lord our Covering or Victory.
- Jehovah-Rapha – The Lord our Healer.
Notes from Keith Moore:
No one has a right to take any of God’s redemptive names and say that was for a season and has passed away.
If He is still our Peace, then He is still our Healer!
He always has been and always will be!
Exodus 15:26 BBE … for I am the Lord your life-giver.
Exodus 15:26 CEV Then he said, “I am the LORD your God, and I cure your diseases….”
Exodus 15:26 CJB “…because I am Adonai your healer.”
Malachi 3:6a NKJV “For I am the LORD, I do not change;
Jeremiah 17:14 NKJV Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.
These two things in the heart and mind of God are interconnected. Salvation and healing. However, most people know of one intimately but the other they do not.
Psalms 103:1-5 NKJV A Psalm Of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! (2) Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: (3) Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, (4) Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, (5) Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The word “Benefits” is plural. God is a God of benefits.
What Is the Truth?
Truth is eternal and unchanging and is truth whether we receive it or not.
Many say “truth” is relative to my experience. They use the phrase “my truth”.
John 14:6 NKJV Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Healing is the truth and is a part of our redemption!
Matthew 18:14 NKJV Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
2 Peter 3:9 NKJV The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Do you base your salvation on who does or does not receive salvation?
Why do we base our healing on who does or does not receive healing?
The Lord is ready to heal!
