(John 8:31-36 NIV) To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. (32) Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (33) They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” (34) Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. (35) Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. (36) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Here We Go Again
(Luke 11:24-26 NLT) “When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest. But when it finds none, it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ (25) So it returns and finds that its former home is all swept and in order. (26) Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before.”

Stay Free
(Galatians 5:1 NIV) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
- Admit that you need help.
(Luke 15:15-17 NIV) So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. (16) He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. (17) “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!
- Humbly repent to God and others.
(Luke 15:18 NIV) I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
- Daily choose to reject Satan’s lies.
(Luke 15:29-32 NIV) But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. (30) But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’ (31) “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. (32) But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.'”
- Daily choose to receive God’s truth.
(Luke 15:22-24 NIV) “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. (23) Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. (24) For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

Freedom Prayer
Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before you. I surrender myself completely and totally in every area of my life to you. I take a stand against the workings of Satan in my life. LORD, I resist all the endeavors of Satan and his wicked sprits to rob me of the will of God. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind. I pull down every through that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ and release into myself a sound mind, the mind of Christ. Thank you Lord for setting me free.
